I only hire virtual assistants who possess education or work experience in mental health and are US-based, ensuring top-notch, culturally relevant support. Committed to transparency and simplicity, I charge no onboarding or setup fees—everything is included in one straightforward monthly fee. I personally consult with both you and your virtual assistant throughout our entire partnership, guaranteeing that the support you receive meets your expectations without additional consulting fees. By selecting VAs interested in part-time work, each manages a maximum of three clients at a time, fostering a deeper connection and more attentive service to your practice. I work diligently with both clients and VAs to ensure the right fit, enhancing positivity, commitment, and longevity, while keeping our team intentionally small for a more personalized experience. I take pride in getting to know and support every client and VA, crafting long-lasting partnerships that truly make a difference in your practice.

  • Prior to our call, I will review the information you shared on your questionnaire to learn about the areas where you need support.
  • I explore your website to get a feel for the services you offer, the community you work with, and a sense of your practice.
  • During our call, I listen closely to what are the most important qualities of an assistant to you and how you would like your assistant to support and represent your practice.

  • By working directly with each of our VAs and clients, I have a strong understanding of what is needed in a successful pairing of a client and VA.
  • I take the time to get to know each VA and client, taking into consideration what each one’s needs and availability are in order to recommend a strong match.
  • I have a professional and educational background in social work, education and school psychology.
  • As a virtual assistant to psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists, I have personally supported numerous practices as an intake coordinator and biller.
  • As a business owner working with numerous mental health practices across the country, I have an inherent understanding of the needs of running a mental health practice, as well as emerging trends and best practices.

Assistant Training​

to ensure that their skills and expertise are tailored for your specific goals.
  • All our VAs receive paid video training in HIPAA Awareness for Mental Health, where they earn a certificate that is shared with you.
  • In the event your VA has not yet had experience using your specific EHR, they will be trained by us at no charge to you to learn your system through tutorials and support of team members.
  • All our VAs are given access to a Team Resource folder with training documents, best practices, and templates they may use to support your practice.
  • Upon signing a contract with ST MHVA, your VA will complete a checklist for setting up their workspace, keeping in mind best practices for confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Once I match you to your VA, my assistant and I work directly with your VA weekly throughout the onboarding process to tailor their skills to your specific needs and practice identity.
  • Our Team has a Slack channel they can reach out to one another for support.

Continued Supervision

of your Assistant, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise.
  • Once you and your VA are confident that onboarding is complete and things are running smoothly, I continue to check in to ensure things continue to go smoothly.
  • I am accessible to both you and your VA if any concerns should arise at any time.
  • I assist in fine-tuning your services, and troubleshooting issues, until you are confident in the support you are receiving.
  • I build a working relationship with each VA so that they are comfortable reaching out to me for support when needed.
  • I am available to consult with you throughout your time working with us.
