Why did you choose to work for Sarita Turner Mental Health Virtual Assistance?
I chose to work with Sarita because we both share the same passion for maneuvering through the complexities of the healthcare system.
What type of background do you have in the field?
I have over 20 years of experience in healthcare billing. Mental health billing has been my main focus for almost 5 years.
What is your favorite task about the job and why?
I love working with multiple clients! Determining the individual needs of each client and helping them become more efficient in their day to day is rewarding to me.
What was the weirdest job you ever had?
I asked strangers if they’d like to take a survey about movies inside Blockbuster. (I quit after 1 day, I was 14 years old.)
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
Is Professional Traveler a career?? I love to travel, so any career that allows me to see the world would be amazing.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
Compassionate, loyal, witty
Describe your life outside of work (hobbies, activities, etc).
I love to travel, binge watch movies, and watch my daughter play club volleyball
What’s the coolest (or most important) trend you see today?
I love the “Time to Talk” movement. Being able to talk about mental health without being stigmatized is very important to me.
