Why did you choose to work for Sarita Turner Mental Health Virtual Assistance?
I have such a huge passion for Mental Health and I look up to any practitioner in the mental health field because it means they share the same passion as me: helping others. More specifically, because I’m not quite there yet in receiving my licensure, I still want to do the most I possibly can so why not help those who help others? It was the perfect fit for me and is something I enjoy doing a lot!
What type of background do you have in this industry?
I will be graduating in May to receive my Bachelor’s in Psychology! I have worked at a Neuropsychology and Neurofeedback department as well as a health office and loved working with and meeting so many people!
What is your favorite task about your job and why?
Knowing that the little things I’m doing, with each appointment I schedule, I’m already helping someone get one step closer to where they want to be.
What is your favorite thing about being a virtual assistant?
I’m working with and meeting so many new people with so many different backgrounds and I’m learning more than I ever thought possible at the same time!
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
If I could have everything I wanted I’d be working as a School Social Worker in a Special Education school while also working with returning/retired Veterans in helping them transition back to normal life.
If given the chance, who would you like to be for a day? Why?
The owner of Dunkin’ Donuts so I can learn all the ingredients/secrets to my favorite drinks 🙂
If you were stuck on a deserted island and could only bring 3 things, what would they be?
Nutella, Fuzzy Socks, and a Journal
Describe your life outside of work (hobbies, activities, etc).
I played Volleyball for 9 years and traveled the country on a national team for 4 years! I’ve loved to cook almost my whole life but more recently I’ve grown an interest in making Soups and I try to make a new Soup recipe every weekend (if you have a recipe you’d recommend, send it my way!)
Now that you know a little about us, contact Sarita Turner today to learn how one of our Virtual Assistants could benefit your practice.
