Client Profile – Meet Dr. Michelle Rivera-Clonch

Hi! My name is Dr. Rivera-Clonch and it is my pleasure to be serving the Central Florida community through Peace Within: Counseling for Women, LLC. For the past 20 years I have been counseling and educating children, young adults, and adults in a variety of settings such as schools, private practice, college campuses, college classrooms, and in international training workshops.

What was the driving force that led you to hire a Virtual Assistant?

Simply put, I was overwhelmed managing my private practice, interns, university courses, corporate trainings and workshops, non-profit work, and retreats. When I looked at which parts of this work could be delegated, it became clear– rather quickly–that it was the administration aspects of my private practice.

How has hiring a mental health virtual assistant helped your practice?

My assistant Nikki brought a wealth of experience and knowledge that she immediately put to use. She knew her way around important aspects of the business such as HIPAA laws, confidentiality, billing and insurance, and she is very competent at using office software and platforms. Nikki has helped me professionalize operations and communications and has been a delight to work with all along the way.

What is your favorite new thing you can do with your newfound free time after hiring your VA?

I’m no longer treading water in my business and the newfound free time is going into innovation and projects to grow my businesses that have been shelved for a long time. With Nikki and Sarita committed to helping me succeed, I can relax knowing that things will be taken care of and done well. What a gift!

Why did you choose to work with Sarita Turner Mental Health Virtual Assistance?

I was attracted to the niche Sarita created of assistants who are facile with the particular needs and discretion necessary in the mental health field. My assistant will be the first person a prospective client interacts with, she represents my business, and I needed a level of professionalism that I wasn’t confident I would receive with other generalist virtual assistant services. Since day one I have felt great about this business decision.

How would you describe your assistant?

Knowledgeable, quick study, earnest, personable, professional, dependable, sensible discretion and judgment, honest, and just a good person all around. I feel fortunate that we were matched!

If there is one decision that has elevated my private practice across the board, it is hiring a mental health virtual assistant through Sarita Turner. Sarita herself is a gem and it is clear that she cares about her clients and their businesses. I enjoy working with her as much as I enjoy working with my assistant Nikki. Nikki is excellent at her job and a treat to have as a co-worker. I feel taken care of between these two and can move my energy into areas that serve my clients and talents better.
