While there are many common threads in how to build and manage a mental health practice, there are also many nuances based on your area of specialty and the diverse communities we serve. Our Virtual Assistants provide support in both the general foundational tasks of managing a mental health practice and in the nuances of each specialty area of mental health.
Addictions and Substance Use
Our VAs who support practices specializing in addiction and substance use issues:
- Assist with the coordination of care with supportive family members.
- Coordinate visits between various providers within the care team (doctors/case management/etc).
- Assist with transitions to/from inpatient services or intensive outpatient care if needed and serve as a liaison between the clinician and other members of the care team.
- Assist with phone calls to the pharmacy to schedule deliveries for injections (suboxone, sublocade, vivitrol) used to treat alcohol and opioid addictions to prevent relapse.
- Order supplies.
- Save the clinician time when it comes to scheduling, screening, and coordinating care.
